I wanted to e-mail you to thank you again for the wonderful visit this past week to Playa Blanca. I do not see how our visit could get any better. The facilities were first class and I cannot say enough about your staff. To have Tacio as a guide and to have your Villa’s boat at our beck and call was over the top.
We estimated that we saved at least $1200. that we would have spent on water activities if we did not have Tacio and the boat. We are planning to come annually to Playa Blanca and will look forward to seeing you next year.

Last night we had fresh conch just plucked from the gorgeous blue waters of the Ambergris Caye. Life is good at Playa Blanca!
This is paradise…in the water, inside the reef and even in the kitchen. Every night we enjoyed the fish we caught and fresh produce from the local Belizean markets…and didn’t have to clean a thing..your staff was fantastic! Thank you for your staff. They made our trip so much fun. We felt like we lived here rather than being guest. We also want to thank you for the use of the house…this house is “awesome”. And the fact that it came with a boat was such a bonus.
We have fished, snorkeled, golf-carted, explored and watched the changes in the weather…and thought…this is IT! This is a life to be practiced and copied until it comes with the ease that God intended.
I just can’t think of a better place to be. I speak for everyone when I say “Thank You” for the wonderful time and the wonderful, gracious Belizean people.

Reality hit harder than I had expected after our memorable trip to Belize.The Playa Blanca Island Villa website is beautiful but doesn’t even begin to tell the truth about the villa, the island, the people. We have rented houses on other islands but at Playa Blanca we didn’t just get a house, we got spoiled.
I could probably ramble on and on about how wonderful everything was but you already know how gorgeous and comfortable the house is, how beautiful the setting, how relaxing the atmosphere, what a fun and invigorating experience zip-lining (yes, we switched from the zoo) and cave tubing is, how amazing the Mayan ruins are. So I’ll just thank you for giving us this wonderful experience.
You took care of everything for us, answered all my questions honestly, and made this one of the most enjoyable trips we’ve ever been on. To be so pampered was a new and unusual experience that I could certainly get used to. The staff at Playa Blanca were quiet, courteous, beautiful. Enough cannot be said about Tacio. We have never been on a trip where we’ve met someone as kind, knowledgeable, friendly as Tacio. We felt like we were visiting with a family member who gave us a private tour of Ambergris Caye, the surrounding waters, Caye Caulker. Without Tacio, this vacation would have been relaxing and beautiful but not unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean. Tacio made it what it was. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have met and spent time with such a beautiful person. Thank you. Thank him.
I hope we can someday return to Playa Blanca and spend another vacation in a superb home with a new friend who made this a most memorable time. Thank you,

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home in Belize. It was beyond our expectations and we’ll tell our friends about it.
Your hosting couple is definitely an asset. We were with our guide from early am until early pm with a slight break for lunch. We fished everyday. We appreciated Ivan’s patience. He was always baiting our lines, fixing our snags and untwisting lines. Got the picture? Not to mention filleting our catch for dinner.
The entire staff was so helpful and Corky stole our hearts.

It was no challenge to relax completely here, to follow the rhythm of the day wherever it take you. We tried our hands at kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, boating and many other adventures to enjoy the enchantment of Ambergris Caye.
The setting is stunning…a view in every direction. Everyone on your staff was so accommodating, kind and helpful. The use of the boat fantastic! The housekeeping ..so appreciated!

Thank you so much seems so little. We’ve had such a wonderful time. This was our first real family vacation. The kids, Erica 16 and Jonathon 21, had a blast.

Where do we begin after spending a week in Paradise? This vacation was exactly what our family needed. We are not ready to leave. The house was just perfect and suited our needs well.
It is truly a vacation when someone else is taking you places, giving you pointers and doing all the dishes and laundry. Who knew cooking could be so much fun when you don’t have to clean up after yourself?
The weather was gorgeous, the diving awesome and snorkeling for lobster was too much fun. The Belizean people are so hospitable and friendly..now I know why so many Texans have been here before us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
All of the extras you did for us (crib, groceries etc.) really meant so much and we are truly sorry we could not thank you in person. We will forever be grateful for our beautiful experience in Belize.

It’s 6am on our final day at Playa Blanca. I am sitting on the sofa, looking out at the Caribbean, wishing this idyllic vacation didn’t have to end so soon. The memories created here will be held in our hearts forever.
Denise, your attention to detail in all the decorating and furnishings makes this house a delight to be in. The snorkeling, fishing, cleaning of the fish, shopping tips, making tortillas, conch fritters, cerviche, doing laundry, keeping the house immaculately clean all contributed to making this vacation about as close to perfect as one can get.
Be assured, this is going to be the first of many trips to Playa Blanca.

Having our own boat was fabulous for snorkeling, fishing, and anything else you could possibly want to do. Our guide not only knew the best snorkeling spots but took us at the best times to avoid the crowds.
My husband really enjoyed fishing and was quite proud of the barracuda he caught. Perhaps the most surprising thing was that I actually enjoyed fishing..something I had never done before and didn’t expect to like. I caught more fish than my husband one day!
The cerviche and fish barbecue was awesome. I truly believe our guide knew everyone on the island and could arrange anything. We all loved the snorkeling with so much to see underwater…and I loved the fact that the housekeeping and laundry was all taken care of. What an awesome vacation.

We have stayed at Playa Blanca twice and plan on it again!!!! The first time we stayed with two other couples, the second time with one couple….but the next time we are bringing our two kids! I think a 19yr old and 14yr old will have a BLAST!!!! The Island is so relaxing but the house, boat, Tacio, Merina and Essal(Stephen)cannot be beat! Hope to see you all soon!
